MPAC is Sizzling with Comedy Magic this Spring!
Passions run high as leading lady Lilli Vanessi and her ex-husband, actor/director Fred Graham, battle onstage and off in a production of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew. With romance, comedy, sophistication, and behind-the-scenes high jinks, Kiss Me, Kate combines the irreverent humor of four brilliant writers: Sam and Bella Spewack, Cole Porter and William Shakespeare. Rated PG.

The International Ballet of Florida is proud to present an original production of “The Wizard of Oz” at Manatee Performing Arts Center. This stunning performance has original choreography by Vadim Fedotov and music composed by David Goldstein and will feature premiere international ballet stars with the dancers of The International Ballet of Florida.

All performances are in Spanish, with English surtitles available.
“VOCES” aims to share the experiences and perspectives of the Latino community in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Through narratives collected from conversations with community members, it seeks to highlight social realities and promote open dialogue on relevant issues. Rated R (17+)

Pooh Bear and all of his friends from the classic children’s books and animated film band together to rescue their friend, Christopher Robin.
Disney’s Winnie the Pooh is a delightful show based on the beloved characters of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film. Featuring favorite songs from the film, as well as new hits by the Academy Award-winning Robert and Kristen Lopez (Frozen), this honey-filled delight is as sweet as it is fun. This camp is for youth ages 7-11 (age is based on the start date of the program). Find more information on our Education Page.

Murder mystery writer Agatha Christie loved keeping whodunit aficionados guessing with clues that ended in surprising and climactic revelations. But none of her fictional works could compare, or were as fascinating as a real event in the author’s life that startled millions and made front-page newspaper headlines around the world—and which is the inspiration for the new mystery play by B. J. Mohr.
